Flight of the iguana

The Jesus lizard
Has a wizard wheeze:
Impromptu freefall
From the trees.
Hasty retreat
From tall hibiscus;
Miraculous feet
Across the meniscus.
Flick of the tail,
Quick as a flash,
Blazing a trail,
Madcap dash;
Frantically hectic
Insane bolt;
Scaly, electric
Runaway colt.
Water walking:
Now you’re talking.
Great invention,
Surface tension.
